Contact with local schools is a very important part of the club’s philosophy going forward

we have set up rowing training camps in St. Columba’s Comprehensive, Glenties. Using 15 ERG rowing machines we have run introductory rowing camps in conjunction with the schools PE teacher Orla Reagan. we coached the students in the basics of rowing, giving the students a chance to experience and enjoy a sport which is low impact but massively beneficial. We hope to carry on this initiative over the coming years, bring the sport of rowing to a wider audience and maybe find a future world champion along the way.

Meet Amy and leah who are our  level 1 trained  coaches and also employed by rowing Ireland to run the get going get rowing schools program in CO.Donegal
